Campos de Oliva de la Frontera y Valencia del Mombuey is a dehesa area on the Spanish-Portuguese border. A communal pasture with more open areas and large areas of scrubland. There are also several rivers (Ardila, Zaos and Godolid) as well as some very interesting ponds in Portugal but less than 1 hour away. A LIFE project is being developed to reinforce Rotmilan populations, the first releases being in 2022. The main species are. Black Vulture, Gänsegeier, Rotmilan, Schwarzmilan, Sandflughuhn, Triel, Maurensteinschmätzer but also a wide group of passerines and waterfowl in the ponds in Portugal.

El área es una dehesa comunal con areas mas abiertas y amplias zonas de matorral. También hay varios rios (Ardila, Zaos y Godolid) así com algunas charcas muy interesantes en Portugal pero a menos de 1 hora. Se está desarrollando un proyecto LIFE de reforzamiento de poblaciones de milano real, siendo las primeras liberaciones en 2022. Las principales especies son. The start of the route can be the towns of Oliva de la Frontera and Valencia del Mombuey. It is 1 hour south of Badajoz, 2.5 hours north of Seville and 2.5 hours SE of Lisbon. The farm can be accessed by car, the dirt roads are well preserved for the most part, by bicycle, on foot. Access from both locations is easy and comfortable. There are two rural lodgings. One in the town of Valencia del Mombuey (Ultimo Rincón del Paraiso) and others in the middle of the pasture of Oliva de la Frontera (La Venta Rural Complex). On the map you see a walking route of 17 km. It is just one of the many trails you can follow in the area.

Espagnol: El inicio de la ruta puede ser las localidades de Oliva de la Frontera y Valencia del Mombuey. Está 1 hora al sur de Badajoz, 2.5 horas al norre de Sevilla y 2.5 horas al SE de Lisboa. A la finca se puede acceder en coche, los caminos de tierra están bien conservados en su mayoria, bicicleta, a pie. Desde las dos localidades el acceso es fácul y cómodo. Existen dos alojamietnos rurales. Uno en el pueblo de Valencia del Mombuey (Ultimo Rincón del Paraiso) y otros en mitad de la dehesa de Oliva de la Frontera (Complejo Rural La Venta).
