Balsa de riego Herrín-Villalón-Boadilla is a recently created pond that has quickly become a haven for many birds, combining an aquatic environment with surrounding cereal and irrigated fields. Nearly 170 species have been observed in just 10 years. Among them are ducks such as Reiherente and Tafelente, gulls like Heringsmöwe, and the typical birds of cereal steppe.

Esta balsa de reciente creación en pocos años ya se ha convertido en un enclave para muchas aves y combina el ambiente acuático con campos de cereal y de regadío a su alrededor. Balsa de riego Herrín-Villalón-Boadilla is located north of the village of Herrín de Campos. You can get there and park by car and also on foot from Herrín de Campos, although it's quite a walk. The circular route around the reservoir is about 5 km.
