Azud de Ojós is a reservoir in the river Segura. The avifauna varies according to the time of year. It is mainly made up of colonies of herons, with Graureiher, Seidenreiher and Kuhreiher, the most numerous, as well as Zwergdommel and Nachtreiher. There is also the possibility of spotting migratory birds, such as Rallenreiher and Rohrweihe. In winter you can see Kormoran. Other aquatic birds remain to a greater or lesser extent throughout the year, such as Bläßhuhn, Teichhuhn, Zwergtaucher and Stockente.

Espagnol: El embalse del Azud de Ojós, es un lugares para ver aves durante nuestras visitas al Valle de Ricote. La avifauna presente varía según la época del año, pudiendo diferenciar entre cuatro periodos: invernada, reproducción (estival), pasos migratorios prenupcial y postnupcial. Está compuesta principalmente por colonias de ardeidas, con garza real, garceta común y garcilla bueyera, la más numerosa, así como avetorillo común y martinete común. También hay posibilidad avistar aquellas que utilizan la zona durante los pasos migratorios, como la garcilla cangrejera, al aguilucho lagunero. En invierno se puede observar cormorán grande. Otras aves acuáticas se mantienen en mayor o menor medida durante todo el año, como la focha común, gallineta común, zampullín chico y anade azulón.
