The ecological path of Toledo along the river Tagus is a nice place for birding near the citt. At this point near the university campus the path passes an island where Dohle, Graureiher, Kuhreiher, Nachtreiher and Seidenreiher go to sleep in winter. In spring-summer herons nest here. The area can be good for surprises too.
