The Alberca de Cortés reservoir is surrounded by a flat, easy-to-follow path with dense vegetation that hides visitors and prevents birds from seeing visitors. Leaving Huesca on the A-132 highway towards Puente la Reina, Chimillas is just 8 kilometers away. From Chimillas, take Calle Alberca, towards the Sierra de Guara Nursing Home (Residencia de Ancianos Sierra de Guara), continue walking and you'll soon arrive. It is recommended to park in the village, Chimillas, and continue walking along, approximately 500 meters. The path around the reservoir is very easy, approximately 1.5 km, and completely flat.
