Beschreibung
Glinara in Višnjica is a 550 metres long loess buttress formed by past clay excavation for nearby brickyards, surrounded by agricultural and ruderal habitats, forests, thickets and hedgerows. Birds include 300+ pairs of Bienenfresser, making it the largest bee-eater colony in Serbia, 100+ pairs of Star, 10+ pairs of cliff-holes nesting Mauersegler, also Elster, locally specialised in preying upon adult bee-eaters (pers. obs.), plus Steinkauz and Ortolan.

The surrounding 30-hectare area has been protected by the Law on Nature Protection as a site of local significance since 2024 (Official Gazette of the City of Belgrade 2024).
