Due to its location on a western cape that juts into the Atlantic Ocean Peniche is one of the best places in Portugal to watch seabird migration. The rocky coast of Peniche is beautiful in itself, but the hundreds of migratory birds make it even more beautiful. Probably the best place in all of Europe to see Gelbschnabelsturmtaucher. Some days thousands of Basstölpel and Heringsmöwe pass by. The surrounding area is also worth a visit. 308 bird species have already been observed.

A costa rochosa de Peniche é bela em si, mas as centenas de aves migratórias a tornam ainda mais bonita. Provavelmente o melhor lugar em toda a Europa para ver Gelbschnabelsturmtaucher.
