Paul do Taipal is a small wetland, formed by sugarcane fields and with several lakes, where many species of ducks can be seen such as Stockente, Löffelente and Spießente. But also herons (Graureiher, Purpurreiher, Seidenreiher, Kuhreiher, Sichler. Also common are Bläßhuhn and Zwergtaucher and there is a permanent presence of Rohrweihe.

Português: Pequena zona húmida junto a Montemor-o-Velho, e ao lado da estrada nacional 111. Alberga inúmeras aves aquáticas, incluindo várias espécies de patos e garças. Trata-se de uma pequena zona húmida, formada por canaviais e com várias lagoas centrais, onde se concentram várias espécies de patos, Stockente, Löffelente, Spießente, mas também garças, Graureiher, Purpurreiher, Seidenreiher, Kuhreiher, Sichler. Também aqui é comum o Bläßhuhn, Zwergtaucher, destacando-se a presença permanente de Rohrweihe.

Being next to the national road 111, this is the best access route. The parking area is small and is on the side of the road, towards Montemor - Figueira da Foz. Click on the P in the map for directions. From the parking, you can walk along the indicated trail using a wooden walkway. There is also an elevated observatory here.

Português: Estando ao lado da estrada nacional 111, esta é a melhor via de acesso. A zona de estacionamento é reduzida e fica na berma da estrada, no sentido Montemor - Figueira da Foz. A partir daqui pode seguir a pé pelo trilho indicado e utilizando um passadiço de madeira. Aqui também existe um observatório elevado.
