Beschreibung
The Witoszówka reservoir in Świdnica is a recreational place for Świdnica residents and a reserve for anglers. Although the shore is regulated without trees and reeds it is home to hundreds of birds. In winter this is a great place to observe gulls from a short distance (the reservoir is max. 300 m long, the piers are located in its south-western part). During winter migration, there are Sturmmöwe, Lachmöwe, Steppenmöwe and Silbermöwe. Often Mantelmöwe, Heringsmöwe and Schwarzkopfmöwe. Occasionally Dreizehenmöwe. Other birds you can see are Tafelente, Knäkente, Höckerschwan, Rostgans and Gänsesäger.
