Roszkowo is a site of open farmland sparsely covered with single trees. Due to the numerous rodents (especially in the so-called mouse years), it attracts mainly birds of prey, including Steppenweihe and not only that, but also Sumpfohreule. Every year, especially at the end of summer, Mornellregenpfeifer is reported here.
