There is a colony of Lachmöwe here, where Flußseeschwalbe, Schwarzhalstaucher, Rothalstaucher, Tafelente and Schnatterente also nest. In this area, you can also find rarer species, such as Moorente and Kolbenente. With a bit of luck, there is a good chance of meeting Zwergdommel and Weißbart-Seeschwalbe. From the second half of April to mid-May and in July, you can come across a mass migration of thousands of individuals of Zwergmöwe. Deep in Lake Dąbie, during migration and in winter, it is easy to see flocks of thousands of Reiherente. You can observe the birds from land - from the bicycle path running along the embankment along the lake. It is forbidden to sail onto islands with bird colonies.

The best way to visit the area is to drive to Lubczyna and park your car near the beach. You can also get there by water (Marina Lubczyna).
