Lake Kierskie is especially interesting in the autumn and winter. Ducks, geese, grebes and loons etc. stop here regularly in pretty good amount. In winter, up to 3,000 gulls spend the night here - mainly: Lachmöwe, Silbermöwe, Steppenmöwe, Sturmmöwe and also a single: Schwarzkopfmöwe, Mantelmöwe, Heringsmöwe. Quite rare waterfowl for inland are regularly observed, such as: Bergente, Samtente, Trauerente, Ohrentaucher, Sterntaucher and Prachttaucher. The lake is a feeding ground for Seeadler. Geese spend the night on the reservoir, mainly: Graugans but also northern geese.

Zugang
Along the eastern shore there is an asphalt path and several piers from which you can observe birds. The west bank is partially built-up and inaccessible.
