This small reservoir is more of a floodplain than a lake. Its field character attracts significant numbers of waterfowl. Numerous ducks (up to 600) find a resting place here - Stockente, Krickente, Schnatterente, Pfeifente, Löffelente, Spießente. In summer, when the water level drops and reveals muddy banks, the place becomes attractive for: Bruchwasserläufer, Sandregenpfeifer, Sichelstrandläufer, Alpenstrandläufer, Bekassine. In the surrounding fields, during migration and in winter, it is easy to observe numerous geese.

Polski: Ten niewielki zbiornik wodny jest raczej rozlewiskiem niż jeziorem. Jego śródpolny charakter przyciąga znaczne ilości ptaków owdno - błotnych. Miejsce odpoczynku znajdują tutaj liczne kaczki (do 600 sztuk) - Stockente , Krickente , Schnatterente , Pfeifente , Löffelente , Spießente. Latem, kiedy poziom wody opada odkrywając błotniste brzegi, miejsce staje się atrakcyjne dla : Bruchwasserläufer , Sandregenpfeifer , Sichelstrandläufer , Alpenstrandläufer , Bekassine. Na okolicznych polach w okresie przelotów i zimą łatwo zaobserwować liczne gęsi.

Lake Hubert is located between the villages of Jarzębowo and Korzęcin. The site can be reached by car or bike (there is a bike path). You can park your car along the bike path or drive into the bay by the field. Press a P on the map for directions.
