Vadsøya is an island in the city of Vadsø. The east side of the island is a nature park with a pond. The pond is a good place to see Odinshühnchen. Other birds you can see along the shores and on sea are Eiderente, Scheckente, Prachteiderente, Eisente, Mittelsäger, Gänsesäger, Meerstrandläufer, Pfuhlschnepfe, Eismöwe, Polarmöwe, Rotkehlpieper, and Alpenstrandläufer.
