Stagno della Caffarella is a wetland in Parco della Caffarella, a large city park of 132 hectares in Rome. The pond and the surrounding wetland attract birds like Graureiher, Seidenreiher, Kuhreiher, Nachtreiher, Zwergtaucher, Bläßhuhn, Wiedehopf, Zistensänger, Nachtigall, Rohrweihe and Eisvogel. The area has an observation hide and is easy to reach.

Parco della Caffarella is located in the southern part of Rome, between the Via Appia Antica and Via Latina. I recommend parking on the Via Appia and entering through the main gate of the Caffarella.
