The beach of Spiaggia di Spina and the adjacent river mouth of Foce Logonovo attract waders and gulls outside the summer season. From autumn to spring (October-April) a walk along this beach can offer a close-up view of Sanderling, Alpenstrandläufer, but also Seeregenpfeifer and Kiebitzregenpfeifer, and sometimes even Steinwälzer. Among the gulls, Lachmöwe and Mittelmeermöwe are always present and you can also observe Brandseeschwalbe and Kormoran. In the dune area, Stieglitz is frequent and also Rotkehlchen.

Italiano: Una spiaggia regolarmente frequentata (fuori dalla stagione estiva) da diverse specie di limicoli e gabbiani. Dall'autunno a primavera (Ottobre-Aprile) una camminata lungo questa spiaggia può offrire la vista, anche ravvicinata, di Sanderling, Alpenstrandläufer ma anche Seeregenpfeifer e Kiebitzregenpfeifer talvolta anche il Steinwälzer. Tra i Gabbiani, sempre presenti Lachmöwe e Mittelmeermöwe e si possono osservare anche Brandseeschwalbe e Kormoran. Nella zona dunale, è frequente Stieglitz ed anche il Rotkehlchen.

Spiaggia di Spina and Foce Logonovo are located on the Adriatic coast directly south of the town of Porto Garibali. There are ample free parking spaces near the beach resorts where you can leave your car. Press P on the map for directions to a parking. Access to the beach is only possible on foot.
