Around the village of Fubine you can see many nice Mediterranean bird species such as Bienenfresser, Wiedehopf and Zwergohreule. A colony of Bienenfresser breeds in the mountain where Fubine is located.. Wiedehopf can also be seen often and I have also seen groups of Heiliger Ibis fly over. Two Zwergohreule are probably in a tree at the bottom right of the church at the top, but I have seen them myself in the evening on the electricity wires just below the church in the dark. Every evening I heard them call loudly. Bienenfresser sometimes all sit together in high bare treetops at the bottom of the mountain in and around the sand walls.

You can park in the town of Fubine. You can do a lot by car, such as exploring the mountain in search of the colony of Bienenfresser. I recommend the super nice AirBnB of Valerie and Gwenn if you want to spend a few days bird watching around Fubine.
