The Fontane Bianche is a floodplain area of the Piave river of about 100 hectares. The area has springs and lush woods. The name of the area takes its origin from the clarity of the water that flows from numerous springs. In the dense and well-preserved floodplain forest many birds can be observed. For example Wasserralle, Eisvogel, Knäkente, Bienenfresser, Seidenreiher, various species of woodpecker and birds of prey.

The Fontane Bianche is located south of the town of Sernaglia della Battaglia. There is a small parking on the northern side of the area. Click on the P in the map for directions. You can make a 3 km circular walk through the area.
