The remote area of Hellisheiði near Ketilsstadhir is flat land overlooking a cliff. Very nice place for observing birds such as Papageitaucher, Basstölpel, Dreizehenmöwe, Tordalk and Trottellumme.

Zugang
The best way to visit this site is to drive to the parking lot. From the parking you can explore the coast where the birds will be massively present from May to July. The route is remote from the Ring Road, but normally safe to drive roughly from May to September.
