Beschreibung
Csaba-tó is surrounded by great bird habitat. From a large forest great for Blutspecht to the large reedbeds that support Rohrschwirl. The many paths allow for viewing different species often at close range. The shrub habitat to the west of the lakes is great for Bienenfresser. Many types of reed warblers are found and Pirol is often around. Neuntöter can be found the shrubs and trees and many egrets and heron species inhabit the area.

Zugang
Csaba-tó is located in the southern outskirts of the town of Békéscsaba. Csaba-tó is accessible by car via the suburban roads but there is no proper car park. Most of the paths shown are accessible driving. An open field at the south end of Povázsai Máté u. is often used by fishermen as a car park. Parking on the grass just off the paths is allowed, however it can be a rough road depending on your vehicle type. Click on the P in the map for directions. If you are coming by train. The Bekescsaba train station is about a 40 minute walk from Csaba-to.

Please do not fish in Fas-to or Csaba-to unless you have allowance. The smaller pools are usually free to fish in but you must check in advance. Please do not swim in pools where signs state not to and please respect the birds and wildlife.
