Beschreibung
The Wuhleteich has a variety of biotopes with a lake, forest and hills, as well as several river and stream tributaries. Throughout the year, both native bird species and interesting migratory birds can be observed here.
Common water birds and several breeding pairs of Eisvogel are permanent residents. Mäusebussard, Habicht, Fasan and Neuntöter also breed in the surrounding area and can be seen regularly. During the autumn migration, Flußuferläufer, Bekassine and Erlenzeisig can be observed.

Wuhleteich is located in the eastern part of Berlin. Easy accessible by public transport. Kienberg metro station (1) on the U5 line of the Berlin U-Bahn is close. Also easy to park your car in the neighborhood. Press P on the map for directions to a parking spot. The area offers a variety of options for exploration: on foot, by bike, and the area is also free of barriers. The circular walking route indicated on the map is about 3 km.
