Various hiking trails lead from Camping Lackenhauser into the woods. Many birds can be seen both on the campsite and in the woods and fields around the campsite. Surprisingly nice species! Among the many birds you can see here are Girlitz, Fichtenkreuzschnabel, Wespenbussard, Erlenzeisig and different birds of prey.

Parking on the camping 'Lackenhauser' or in the surrounding area. Click on the P in the map for directions. Be sure to walk from the campsite along the river Gegenbach towards the Austrian border. During this beautiful walk, especially look up for Wespenbussard, Mäusebussard and Rotmilan.The circular walk indicated on the map is about 2 km.
