Beschreibung
The Sechta, which was once straightened, was restored to its original course over a length of around 5 km. The Sechta Prosekko Project has created many additional water areas. The cultivation takes place on an area of more than 50 ha extensively through two grazing projects. On the one hand by oxen, in the other pasture by Angus cattle, sheep and goats. Typical and rare breeding birds, but also resting and wintering birds can be observed here all year round. Among the birds you can encounter are Goldammer, Rohrammer, Schwarzkehlchen, Wespenbussard, Baumfalke, Rotmilan, Schwarzmilan, Kiebitz, Wiesenweihe, Rohrweihe, Kolkrabe, Wiesenschafstelze and Feldlerche.

One parking lot is the parking lot to the south, near the Ipf mountain, by the "grünen Klassenzimmer" ("green classroom"). The second parking lot is at the level of the Edelmühle district and is centrally located on the Edelbach stream, now between the two cattle pastures. Click on the P in the map for directions.
