Beschreibung
Friedhof Hoppenlau is the oldest burial ground in Stuttgart created during the plague in 1626. There are interesting old graves amongst mature trees and bushes - a refreshing break from the hustle and bustle of the city. Several bird species unusual for the city center can be found here: Buntspecht, Grünspecht, Kernbeißer, Stieglitz, Gartenbaumläufer, Wintergoldhähnchen. In summer time Mauersegler and Alpensegler are plentiful in the sky. You will also encounter many red squirrels.
