Beschreibung
Nature reserve around the lake Barsbecker See with reedbeds surrounded by low intensity farmland and meadows, pastures and hedgerows. While there is no access and very limited views onto the lake and reedbeds, the surrounding land is quite interesting, particularly in the winter. During the winter thousands of geese can be seen on the pastures including the occasional Rothalsgans. Similarly many Wacholderdrossel, Rotdrossel and Großer Brachvogel can be seen. In the summer time Schwarzkehlchen and Steinschmätzer are relativly common. Seeadler can be seen year round.
