Piste de Saint-Elie et Sentier Botanique allows you to go deep into the primary forest. Besides birds, many other animals can be spotted. You can find birds of primary forest and birds of secondary forest. The botanical trail is a short loop that allows you to learn more about local botany. The longer Saint-Élie trail will take you to the center of the primary forest. It is possible to stay several days on site thanks to the presence of two well-equipped huts.

La zone permet l'observation des espèces de forêt primare et de forêt dégradée. Le sentier botanique : court parcours en boucle permet d'en apprendre plus sur la botanique locale. La piste de Saint-Élie, plus longue vous amènera au centre de la forêt primaire. Il est possible de rester plusieurs jours sur site grâce à la présence de deux carbets bien aménagés.

Piste de Saint-Elie is located southwest of Sinnamary. Leaving Sinnamary towards Iracoubo, follow the signs for "crique Toussaint", then continue straight on until the end of the road.
