The plateau is an agricultural area having kept a very authentic character and pastoral areas offering various environments. The site is best known for observing a colony of Steinsperling. Also Heidelerche, Feldlerche, Schwarzkehlchen, Brachpieper and Grauammer roam the various habitats. The Neuntöter nests in the groves and hedges. Wiedehopf, Wendehals and Zwergohreule are rare but present. The site is also good for migrants such as Wiesenweihe, Rotkopfwürger and Braunkehlchen. In winter, the site welcomes many passerines Buchfink, Bergfink, Bluthänfling, Goldammer, Zaunammer and Zippammer, but also Alpenkrähe.

Le plateau est une zone agricole ayant gardé un caractère trés autentique, culture d'aromatique et zone pastorales offrents divers milieux.
