Les Étangs d'Or is an interesting area to explore because it is home to a medium-sized reed bed as well as the beginnings of a heron colony. The best period to visit is therefore in summer. The area is also good for other taxa: amphibians, enthomofauna.

Les Étangs d'Or are located 8 km south of the city of Beaune. Access is via the D23 south of Beaune. A car park is provided so it is easy to park. Press P on the map for directions to the car park. The circular walking route indicated on the map is about 3,5 km.
