The mudflats of l'Anse Bidard are home to many waders such as Austernfischer, Alpenstrandläufer, Kiebitzregenpfeifer and Sanderling during the migration period. The wintering of Brandgans is remarkable, and in winter also Ohrenlerche and Schneeammer can be observed. Grey seal or Harbor seal can be seen when the tide is high.

Français: En bordure littoral, l'Anse Bidard intègre la Réserve Naturelle Nationale de la Baie de Somme au même titre que le Parc du Marquenterre. Les vasières accueillent de nombreux limicoles ( Austernfischer Alpenstrandläufer Kiebitzregenpfeifer Sanderling ... en période de migration. L'hivernage de Brandgans est remarquable, on y observe aussi Ohrenlerche et Schneeammer. Le phoque veau-marin ou gris peut être observé à marée haute.

L'Anse Bidard is located next to Parc du Marquenterre on the Baie de Somme. Press a P on the map for directions to a parking. Access to the area is only on foot. Be careful: arrive at the site 3 hours before high tide. Dogs are prohibited. There are only two possible access points: the shepherds' path (sentier des bergers) in the commune of Saint-Quentin-en-Tourmont or the northern path in the same commune where you must leave your car. Then allow about 1.5 hours of walking from the north or south parking lot to Anse Bidard.

Français: Uniquement à pied. Attention danger : être sur place 3h avant la marée haute. Chiens interdits. Il n'y a que 2 accès possible : le sentier des bergers dans la commune de Saint-Quentin-en-Tourmont ou le sentier nord de la même commune où il faut y laisser la voiture. Ensuite prévoir 1h30 de marche environ depuis le parking nord ou sud jusque l'Anse Bidard.
