La Paracou is a charming small beach with dunes located close to the town of Les Sables-d'Olonne. Along the coastline you can observe birds such as Austernfischer, Sandregenpfeifer, Alpenstrandläufer, Sanderling, Steinwälzerand Seidenreiher. In the dunes birds as Feldlerche and Feldschwirl. Above sea birds such as Basstölpel, Skua, Balearensturmtaucher, Brandseeschwalbe and Dreizehenmöwe. For watching the seabirds you will need a spotting scope because the birds are often at a great distance.
