In winter, check the sea and river mouth for Mittelsäger , Sterntaucher and Schwarzkopfmöwe . Other winter visitors areKornweihe , Kleines Sumpfhuhn and Bekassine .

The path can be flooded at times (up to 50 centimeters of water). Provide boots or waders. Best months: October to May. Summer should be avoided (very touristy site).
