Even though the pond is small and often filled with foliage during the hotter months, it's worth a look if you are in the area as it's possible to see some unexpected nice birds in the area. Water fowl like Stockente and Krickente have been seen feeding in the water with their young and Neuntöter likes to hunt dragonflies and other insects in the area. Bekassine has been seen by the pond in spring time and a bit rarer sighting of a Blaukehlchen have been spotted there during the migration season.
