The bird tower is easily accessable. In autumn, there is a good chance to find a Doppelschnepfe among other great species of wader and waterfowl. Some recent rarities (in Finnish context) include Kurzzehenlerche, Teichwasserläufer and Rotmilan.
You can make a circular walk through reedbeds. The route is marked and is called "Uikkupolku (Grebe path)". In the reeded area, you can find Bartmeise among other typical reed species.
