The town of Baška is located on the island of KRK. It is a very beautiful area. The coastal strip has beaches, hiking trails, rocks, and vegetated areas. Various gulls can be seen in this strip, such as Mittelmeermöwe. You can often see Gänsegeier. Other birds of prey can also be found here, such as Schlangenadler. If you walk from the beach onto the rocky paths, with a bit of luck you can find Steinrötel. Abundant in the area is Krähenscharbe and actually impossible to miss.
