Beschreibung
The place where Izvorska River joins the Mandra Reservoir is shallow marsh with hilly slopes around, some covered with oak forest, other - with dry bushy grasslands and scattered trees. Marsh vegetation forms a belt also along the adjacent bay of the reservoir. Wasserralle, Tüpfelsumpfhuhn and Kleines Sumpfhuhn can be seen on the edge of the water vegetation. Other birds there are Knäkente, Moorente, Seeadler, Purpurreiher and Rallenreiher, Zwergscharbe and other. During migration flocks of Weißstorch, Schwarzstorch and birds of prey pass over the area.

Zugang
Follow Road 7908 and stop next to the bridge between the villager of Tvarditsa and Dimchevo. There is plenty of space to park on the Eastern part of the bridge, from where one can walk.
