Gradski Park Bihać is located along the fast flowing mountain river Una. In the winter there are hundreds of ducks, mainly Stockente. Some other duck species can be seen like Schnatterente, Spießente and Krickente. In the trees there are common birds like Kohlmeise, Blaumeise and Buntspecht. In spring other birds can be seen in nearby trees at the park migrating back to the mountains above. Also at the park in spring you can see Mönchsgrasmücke, Buchfink and some other species. During the breeding season, outside the city you can see Wasseramsel and Gänsesäger who nest nearby. Also other species like Weißstorch, Graureiher and Mäusebussard.
