There are two migration counting stations next to the town of Wenduine: the Spioenkop close to the sea and an observation platform inside the dunes. From the Spioenkop you have a good view of the sea. It is therefore the perfect place to follow the autumn migration over the sea. You can see species such as Eissturmvogel, Basstölpel, Dreizehenmöwe, shearwaters, sea ducks, skuas, terns, razorbills, divers and with a bit of luck Schwalbenmöwe or even Sturmschwalbe.
The observation platform is located in the middle of the dunes and is therefore a good place to follow the spring and autumn migration. You can see birds such as Brandseeschwalbe,Flußseeschwalbe and even the Purpurreiher. With some luck the Wiesenweihe. In the dunes you can also see Nachtigall, Dorngrasmücke, Turmfalke and Fitis. In winter, with a bit of luck, you can see the Schneeammer here.

Nederlands: Aan de Noordzeekust bij Wenduine zijn er twee trektelposten: de Spioenkop vlak aan zee en een observatieplatform in de duinen. Vanaf de Spioenkop heb je goed zicht op zee. Het is daarom de perfecte plek om de najaarstrek over zee te volgen. Je ziet er soorten als Eissturmvogel, Basstölpel, Dreizehenmöwe, pijlstormvogels, zee-eenden, jagers, sterns, alken, duikers en met een beetje geluk Schwalbenmöwe of zelfs Sturmschwalbe.
Het observatieplatform ligt midden in de duinen en is daardoor een goede plek om de voor- en najaarstrek te volgen. Je kunt vogels zien als Brandseeschwalbe, Flußseeschwalbe en zelfs Purpurreiher. Met wat geluk ook de Wiesenweihe. In de duinen kun je verderNachtigall, Dorngrasmücke, Turmfalke en Fitis zien. In de winter kun je hier met een beetje geluk Schneeammer aantreffen.
