A fairly large lake with lots of ducks, geese, gulls, waders and now and then Rohrdommel. You can make a nice walk (1 hour) around the lake The place is quiet and lies next to the river Schelde in an open area where it is nice to walk and/or cycle.

You drive to the center of Berlare, take the Emiel Hertecantlaan than Brugstraat and finally the Sarosstraat and park your car when you have passed the last house on the left and the street makes a bend to the left. Go straight on uphill and you will see the water.
