A fast flowing stretch of the Ourthe. A reliable place for Wasseramsel. And beavers. Features also many other common forest species of the Ardennes including tits (Weidenmeise, Sumpfmeise, Tannenmeise). Although nearby Waldbaumläufer is common, here I only had Gartenbaumläufer. In spring try your luck with Waldlaubsänger.

Wasseramsel can often be found along the river near the car park. You can choose a circular trail for a little more diversity. De route shown on the map is 4,3 km.
