Most of the time people visit this nature reserve during the summer. But also during the winter and migration period you can see intersting bird species. The area is famous for the Ziegenmelker which you can see during the summer but in the winter you can see the Raubwürger. Other birds you can encounter in the area are Schellente, Fischadler, Baumfalke, Merlin, Schwarzstorch, Kleiber, Kolkrabe, Kranich, Schwarzspecht and Waldkauz. Rare visitors are Seeadler, Brachpieper, Purpurreiher and Stelzenläufer.
