Beschreibung
The 12 hectares of the area consist of four former fish ponds in the Molenbeek valley. The ponds have been managed in a nature-friendly way for ten years. They are a good place to make the first spring observations of Zwergtaucher , Haubentaucher , Eisvogel , Teichrohrsänger , Kormoran . During the winter half-year, in addition to modest numbers of Reiherente, Tafelente, Krickente are present. Other species are seen to a lesser extent Schnatterente, Löffelente, Knäkente , Zwergdommel.
In recent years many rareties were seen during migration, like Schwarzhalstaucher, Rohrdommel, Beutelmeise ,Rallenreiher.
