acces is very easy, there are three parking possibility all around the lake and the train station is not far away. During summer the Haubentaucher is breeding openly, or the Graureiher can be seen hunting. There is also a Eisvogel that shows itself every now and then. In the reed the Drosselrohrsänger is singing happily. During winter all different kind of guests come by e.g. Tafelente, Reiherente, Schnatterente. The water is not always visible during the walk around the lake, but then forestbirds like different species of tits can be seen.
