Beschreibung
Admirals Arch is a spectacular coastal cliffs viewpoint in Flinders Chase National Park. It is home to Australian Sealions, New Zealand Fur Seals and Australian Fur Seals. The heathland backing this site has had numbers of observations of the difficult to 'find and see' Western Whipbird.
Other birds to be seen here include: Southern Emuwren, Cape Barren Goose, Black-faced Cormorant, Tawny-crowned Honeyeater and Sooty Oystercatcher.

From the Park visitors centre drive west along South Coast Road and then turn south down Cape du Couedic Road to reach the parking areas. Press P on the map to access Google mapping.
To reach the arch there is a well-built boardwalk; it's steep with steps at the end that take you to see the arch itself.

The loop walk is regarded as moderately challenging and is exposed to frequent strong winds. Visitors can alternatively elect to simply use the lower carpark boardwalk but that would minimise chances for seeing heathland birds.
A telescope would only be useful if seawatching.
A National Park entry fee is payable for this site.
