Description

During the summer, Snuff Mills comes alive with the sound of bird song. The chorus includes Munk, Rødhals, Gærdesmutte, Allike and Ringdue. The close proximity to the river allows for wonderful species including Bjergvipstjert, Vandstær and Isfugl to be watched as they fly up and down the water.

Access

The proximity to Bristol City is ideal, making Snuff Mills easily accessible from many directions. There is a car park situated on site which is accessible via Broom Hill. Click on the P in the map for directions. Public transport is available from Bristol via the number 46 bus which stops outside the car park at River View Bus Stop. The circular walk indicated on the map is less than a mile.
