Description

The River Monnow is a scenic area noted for blossoming fruit orchards in spring. On warm mornings up to 50 Ravn soar the thermals, with Musvåge and maybe a Spurvehøg. On the river there are Fiskehejre, Silkehejre, Bjergvipstjert, Digesvale, Mursejler, Isfugl, Vandstær and Mandarin-and. The fruit orchards attract large numbers of wintering Sjagger and Vindrossel.
