A small 1 ha rocky islet with a sea bird colony, Middle Mouse Island is 1 km offshore from Dinas Head, Anglesey. Also known as Ynys Badrig/St Patrick's Island.
Middle Mouse Island is the northernmost point in Wales. There is a sea bird nesting colony of Sule, Alk, Lomvie and Skarv.
Middle Mouse is in the north of Anglesey off Cemaes, about 40 km NW of Menai Bridge by road. Hire a boat from Cemaes around the island, but note the tidal currents around the island are very strong and landing is not possible. Alternatively, view the birds by telescope from Dinas Head.
