Description

Broad Water has phragmites reedbeds that have Rørdrum, Vandrikse, Rørsanger and Sivsanger. Sea ducks, Lomvie, Sule, Ride and Toppet Skallesluger pass by offshore. Husrødstjert in winter, terns, Dværgmåge, Stenpikker, perhaps also Thorshane in autumn. Many waders especially Strandskade, Storspove, Sortgrå Ryle, Mudderklire and Stor Præstekrave. Havørn have been seen.

Access

From Tywyn take minor road north, parallel to railway. Limited roadside parking on right after two miles. Extensive offroad parking at own risk (grassed area can be excessively wet after rain or high tides, check tide table)
