Benacre Broad is a coastal lagoon surrounded by trees on either sides and separated from the sea by a tidal sand beach.

Description

Benacre Broad is a very good place for birdwatching during migration. Waders can be found in the lagoon and seawatching can be rewarding (as in any Suffolk coastal sites). It is a Dværgterne breeding site, please do not trespass on the fenced area during breeding season.

The only way to get to Benacre Broad is by walking along the beach from the North (Kessingland Beach) or the South (Covehithe). Click on the P in the map to get directions.
