Lanca Degli Stornazzi is a small port surrounded by forested banks and cityparks. During the spring and autumn migration interesting bird species can sometimes be observed. Among the birds you can encounter are water birds like Knopsvane, Taffeland, Troldand, Lille Lappedykker, Toppet Lappedykker and Dobbeltbekkasin, but in the trees and parks also birds like Pirol, Broget fluesnapper, Grå Fluesnapper, Stor Flagspætte and Grønspætte.
