Description
The landscape in itself is very special, at least in Switzerland. A mosaic of dry meadows, bushes and limestone slabs. Many thermophilic bird species, otherwise rare in the area, inhabit the spot: Gærdeværling, Hærfugl, Vendehals, Rødrygget Tornskade, Vestlig Sortstrubet Bynkefugl, Tornirisk, Skovpiber. The Hedelærke has disappeard a few years ago.
The spot is also very interesting for plants with many orchids and other rare thermophilic species.
